Oh my gosh um there was really a Happy labor day 1887 Peter J.Mcguire shirt time richie where we were living through a mike mckagan adam gase lead team in 2019and it’s just so funny to me how the johnsons fired mccagne immediately after he did a draft they let him draft and then they saw the draft class they’re like excuse me. But it helps the run game too because of that uh that run force multiplier with the read option in the play action boot game it actually is enough to tweak this to going from the second best run game to the third best run game either way it’s going to be a functional offense but with watson it’s going to be an explosive offense where you have a quarterback that’s elevating guys um like obviously uh people’s jones but david bell can play on time in this offense a little better even in anthony schwartz with a better vertical thrower whereas jacoby brissette it’s likeyup you’ve got the worst quarterback in the league great offense around him but um definitely not going to be uh some terrifying force with jacoby brissett so there’s your splits there moving on to the defensive side of the ball now you have uh on the defensive line the seventh ranked pass rush and the 24th ranked dline run defense so much better getting after the quarterback than defending the run here and a big part of that is a very squishy interior defensive line one of the worst in the league but on the edge you have a premium duo uh from run defense from a run defense perspective this is one of the best in the league and from a pass rush perspective it’s also one of the best in the league because you have miles garrett clowny is no joke but miles garrett to me is the best pass rusher in the league behind aaron donald but the best edge rusher in the league and it’s because he has the entire package he’s a absolute freaky specimen six foot five 270 pounds plus with length get off speed bend inside quickness the entire package with miles garrett teams are more terrified of miles garrett than any other edge rush in the league you’re seeing constant double teams chip help you spend your entire week game planning for how the hell you’re going to block miles garrett he’s not the only edge rusher that teams do that for but it is abundantly clear with him and even with that you still see the production there towards the top in the league in terms of pass rush production whether it’s sacks or or pressure numbers he’s a monster he speaks for himself and is a force multiplier for this defense because of the impact he has when he wins and the attention that he draws when teams are trying to neuter him so miles garrett there is the premium reason this is the seventh best pass rush in the league but you have some other pieces that can do enough with that force multiplying effect. But they’re a four and a half point favorite do you like them are you betting them right now today you have to i’m going to assume desean’s going to be playing yeahfor me. So the ravens want him to work hard to be a complete player he was drafted with a 14th overall pick in the draft he’s one of the highest drafted ravens in a long time so throw you know the kitchen sink at him I love it I love to see him competing I love to see him getting beaten I love to see him making plays at the same time so kyle hamilton’s going to need to to be able to have a little bit more versatility within man coverage so he’s going to lose reps he wasn’t polished at that coming out of notre dame he wasn’t drafted to do thatbut he’s probably going to learn that skill over the next year two years three years are the ravens gonna go play the new york jets and ask him to go cover elijah moore and press in the slot. And then they got that and just chilled i’m coolwe got all the rest of these and you if you got it to me I look at schwartz and to me he’s the biggest question mark because I just he’s fast. I don’t know what they have on the other side of the ball I meanand and you I don’t know how what’s going on off the field might infect what goes on on the field with that organization they have been through a lot. It looks really really good I don’t love their alternate just because I feel like the lines in the back look kind of awkward for some reason I don’t love that and I feel like the random like darker gray on what is already a great uniform doesn’t really pop doesn’t really look that amazing to meI like the helmet a ton I think the alternate helmet looks incredible again more of a college feel to it. I think i’m goodi don’t really think there’s anything else I could want um I wouldn’t mind getting another running back because like I said uh dolphins do love themselves uh or mike medina is probably gonna run three running backs would not be surprised so I wouldn’t mind getting rahim moster back again uh.
